OUR BROOKLYN STUDIO IS FULL OF BUDDING ACTORS AND ACTRESSES!!

This week the Upper Primary class (ages 9-12yrs) were asked to dress up for their improvisation set at Ski Resort! The students had a wonderful time putting together a very creative play!

We run drama classes at the Greek Church on Roper Rd on Tuesday afternoons and students come from a variety of schools in the area such as Waterkloof Primary, Brooklyn Primary and Pretoria Oos Laerskool. The main aim of our classes is to build self confidence and develop oral communication skills!!

OUR BROOKLYN STUDENTS LOVE TO DRESS UP!!

This week the Lower Primary class for 5-8yr olds performed their play based on the fairytale The Princess and the Pea. They loved dressing up as Princesses and they really looked the part!!

THE LOWER PRIMARY IN FAERIE GLEN ARE DOING A GREAT JOB UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THEIR WONDERFUL TEACHER LARISA!!

Here are some of the students from our Faerie Glen studio! They had so much fun today and can't wait for their next lesson! We run weekly classes in Faerie Glen in Glenwood Road on Monday afternoons.

DRAMA CLASSES ARE IN FULL SWING AT OUR SADDLEBROOK ESTATE STUDIO IN MIDRAND!

Juliet Jordaan, principal of the Helen O Grady Academy in Pretoria and Midrand, was thrilled with the wonderful enthusiasm and creativity that the students from the Saddlebrook Studio showed during Wednesday's class!

THERE IS SO MUCH TALENT AT LINDO PARK PRIMARY!!

Many of the students from our Lindo Park Primary Studio have joined our casting agency, Aardvark Casting! These are very talented students, who give their best at every lesson! Their creativity is astounding!!

The Lower Primary at Lindo Park Primary are full of energy - they just love it when Lisenka comes to visit! They are learning so many vital skills in our wonderful self development classes!!

TERM 3 IS UNDER WAY!!

HOLIDAY STAGE SCHOOL GREAT SUCCESS!!

Our Holiday Stage School was FANTASTIC!! I don't know who had more fun the students or the teachers!! Thank you Larisa (our Drama Specialist) and Marlie (our Music and Dance Specialist) - you were both brilliant and the children really enjoyed your enthusiasm! We ran our Holiday Stage School at the Brooklyn Greek Church - it was a wonderful venue and we'll definitely be back there in December!!

TERM 3 BEGINS NEXT WEEK!

I can't believe the long World Cup holiday is drawing to a close!!
Schools open next week Tuesday, 13th July and that means The HELEN O' GRADY DRAMA ACADEMY welcomes back all its DRAMA KINGS AND QUEENS!

We are looking forward to seeing all everyone for another funfilled term and we would like to warnly welcome the new children who are joining this term!
