The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy runs drama classes for schools throughout the World and has a large following in South Africa. Using an international curriculum, Helen O’ Grady Drama Academy aims to bring out all the is good in each and every person. Our Upper Primary (grades 4-7) are preparing for their play "Fancy That" which they will perform at the Centurion Theatre in November. From the looks of their rehearsal we think this play will be SPECTACULAR!!!

Our Lyttelton students had a wonderful time as teacher Larisa took them through some exercises to develop their confidence and acting ability. Larisa always develops much creativity in all the children.

Sagewood Lower Primary Show off their Certificates

Our very special grade 1 and 2 students received their certificates today! Today marks the end of term 3 for our students at Sagewood School and we wish them a happy holiday!

Our Grade 1 and 2 students performed at Sagewood Schools Annual Arts and Culture Festival! They were so excited and despite the rainy weather they enjoyed the experience!

At the Helen O' Grady Drama Academy in Midstream we make learning fun!! Many of our students attend our drama classes to boost their English Speaking Skills! They do so in a relaxed and fun manner under the expert tuition of their teacher Chene!

Our 9-12 year old group at our Annlin studio are super talented! They love to bring props to make their plays feel more 'real'. This week they performed a mini script called Famous People.

DRAMA CLASSES IN ANNLIN FOR ALL AGES

Principal, Juliet Jordaan, loves to visit the students at our Annlin Studio. They are so enthusiastic and over the past year they have really developed their self confidence and oral communication skills!
This week they performed a Mime to Music called the Laundry Basket.

Mime to music teaches students how to communicate non verbally through their facial expressions and through the whole body.

From Crazy Conversations to small group improvs this group of talented teenagers are learning so much about drama and themselves under the expert tuition of teacher Larisa Grove.

Our Faerie Glen Upper Primary Just Love to Dress Up

Our student from our Upper Primary class at our Faerie Glen Studio are all between the ages of 9 and 13yrs. They come from a variety of schools in the area. They love to dress up and were brilliant in their recent play Disco Dance Power Failure. So much energy and so much talent = Fun :-)
