WIERDA PARK UPPER PRIMARY STUDENTS PRACTISING FOR PARENT DAY!

Our next group of talented students aged 9 - 12yrs had great fun at their last lesson of the term practising for their Parent Day play!

We're going on Safari to see the...

The Lower Primary had such fun on their recent safari...they saw monkeys, springbok and they were even chased by a cheeky ostrich!! Every week these lucky children perform a different play...from the fun fair to meeting greedy Gretel to visiting the animals in the Zoo...there is always something to look forward to at the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy! 

WIERDA PARK BRINGS IN THE CROWDS!!

Their wonderful teacher Larisa took the role of the Station Master in their play "Not Another Strike" as our lead actor had a family emergency!

The Wierda Park Reformed Church hall was packed with parents and friends at the annual Parent Day! The Wierda Park studio has very supportive parents and very enthusiastic students!! 

Our Wierda Park Youth Theatre and their incredible teacher Larisa!!

Our Youth Theatre students in Wierda Park get together every Friday Afternoon from 5pm - 6pm. They come from a variety of different schools in the area. They have all formed close friendships and they work well as a team!
One of our students from this group along with one of our students from our Brooklyn Youth Theatre are taking part in a production at the Irene Community Hall called Wizard of Africa! CONGRATULATIONS!! We wish them the best of luck and we can't wait to see them on stage in June :-)

STUDENTS OF ALL AGES ENJOY THEIR CLASSES AT WIERDA PARK!

The Upper Primary class (ages 9-12yrs) at Weirda Park Gereformeerde Kerk on Friday afternoons is almost full! They are very excited about their upcoming Parent Presentation! We also have classes for 5 - 8yrs olds and a wonderful Youth Theatre programme for 13 - 18yrs.
