Start of term 4 tomorrow!!


Monday 13 October sees the beginning of our fourth term - Production Term!

This term we take all the techniques we have been learning throughout the year and put it into a short scripted piece that we perform in the Masker Theatre at Pretoria University on the 21,22 and 23 November.

MIDLANDS STUDIO IS SLOWLY GROWING BY WORD OF MOUTH



In July 2012 we opened our new studio at Kerk sonder mure in Midstream. The classes are steadily growing thanks to wonderful word of mouth! Here you can see our Lower Primary class having fun with their teacher Chene.

Lyttelton Upper Primary Rehearsing for Fancy That


Children who attend drama classes are naturally more inclined to be confident, have high self-esteem and are able to communicate better. The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy runs drama classes for schools throughout the World and has a large following in South Africa. Using an international curriculum, Helen O’ Grady Drama Academy aims to bring out all the is good in each and every person. Here you can see our wonderful children from our Lyttelton Studio in dramatic action!
Our Upper Primary (grades 4-7) are preparing for their play "Fancy That" which they will perform at the Centurion Theatre in November. From the looks of their rehearsal we think this play will be SPECTACULAR!!!

OUR BROOKLYN UPPER PRIMARY CERTAINLY GOT INTO CHARACTER WITH THEIR DISCO THEME

What an amazing and talented group of 9-12year olds we have on a Tuesday afternoon in Brooklyn! When we ask these students to dress up – there is no holding back! The use of costumes and props helps actors to really get into character and make their performance believable.
