Lyttelton Upper Primary Rehearsing for Fancy That

Children who attend drama classes are naturally more inclined to be confident, have high self-esteem and are able to communicate better. The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy runs drama classes for schools throughout the World and has a large following in South Africa. Using an international curriculum, Helen O’ Grady Drama Academy aims to bring out all the is good in each and every person. Here you can see our wonderful children from our Lyttelton Studio in dramatic action!
Our Upper Primary (grades 4-7) are preparing for their play "Fancy That" which they will perform at the Centurion Theatre in November. From the looks of their rehearsal we think this play will be SPECTACULAR!!!

TERM 4 GETS UNDER WAY...

Our Academy year is divided into 4 terms. Terms 1, 2 & 3 are devoted to an extensive, developmental programme and Term 4 aims to amalgamate many of the drama and life skills taught during the year into a finished product - the Year End Production.  This is a very exciting and rewarding time for our students as it affords them, one and all, an opportunity to be part of a very successful venture!  I know many of you reading this have first hand experience of our year end shows and fully appreciate the joy they bring to students, parents and teachers alike!
