Students from Lindo Park Primary in Pretoria WOW audience with their dramatic performance!

Helen O' Grady Drama Academy has been running classes at Lindo Park Primary since 2010. Every year the students perform their plays at the school's Prize Giving. This year for the very first time the older students were invited to perform their dynamic physical theatre piece called Perspectives at the Centurion Theatre. They were excellent and the theatre experience was very special to them!

Drama on Mondays at Lindo Primary is great fun!

Every Monday Helen O'Grady Drama Academy goes to Lindo Park Primary where we run our international curriculum with the grade 1-7 learners!
This is an exciting term as we prepare our students for their parent evening in June!

We start the week on a High with our Drama lessons at Lindo Park Primary on Monday afternoons

Under the expert tuition of Larisa Grove these talented students are soaring! We run our Helen O' Grady Drama programme at Lindo Park Primary on Monday afternoons with the grade 1-7's. The students really look forward to it and they are producing wonderful results!

Monday night was alive with Drama, creativity, imagination and above all FUN!
Our students who attend Lindo Park Primary put on a fantastic show for their parents friends and teachers. In fact their performances were so good that the school has asked us to perform on Break Up Day for the whole school!! We are so excited!

Our Lower Primary class at Lindo Park Primary really look forward to their Monday afternoon drama club! This week our High Impact Activity involved newspaper and our stars used their imaginations and had a wonderful time!

The students from grade 4-7 performed their play Circus Capers at Lindo Park Primary's annual Prize Giving Evening. Wow - this group of talented actors were brilliant!! Well done girls!!

Helen O Grady Drama Academy Pretoria Productions Take Off!!

Lindo Park Primary School invited Helen O' Grady Drama Academy to perform their end of year plays at their Prize Giving Evening last night! These grade 2 and 3 students wowed audiences with their spectacular performance! They performed a play called Pirate Joe...they looked fantastic and their teacher Larisa was very proud of them! After the performance they were awarded with Merit and Achievement Certificates. This evening we will be performing at the senior Prize Giving with our Grade 4- 7 students... 

Lindo Primary Students All Geared Up for their End of Year Plays!

This year the Helen O' Grady Drama students are going to perform their end of year plays at the school's prestigious Prize Giving! This is a great honour and we are sure our wonderful students will make us proud!

One of Our Talented Drama Students is also an up and coming writer...

I was so impressed when I came across the Lindo  Park Primary's School Newspaper. It is put together by a group of Grade 7's. One of our very talented Drama students submitted a wonderful article that she had written about our Drama Academy. She also included photos of our Parent Presentation which took place in June. Well Done to you M :-)

TERM 4 OFF TO A GREAT START!!!

Welcome back to a very exciting term of productions: Pirate Joe and The Old Woman Who Lived in the Shoe, by the Lower Primary, Circus Capers and The Curse of the Pharaohs, by the Upper Primary and The Triumph of Trevor Truelove our Youth Theatre play. This is a short action-packed term and we have much to accomplish in a very short space of time.  It also affords all our young actors and actresses an opportunity to demonstrate their creative talents in a public arena.

What a dynamic group of students we have at our Monday afternoon class in Lindo Park! They have produced some amazing work this term - high quality group work and ever-increasing creativity. As teachers at the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy, we are privileged to see constant and lasting development in all our students, aged 3-18 years. Our classes that run at schools such as Lindo Park, Irene Primary, Sagewood and Beaulieu Prep are particularly popular with working parents, as we bring the DRAMA to the school!!
