Midstream Parent Presentation- a huge success!

Our presentation began with an excellent introduction written by two of our talented Youth Theatre students!

Our Lower primary showed the audience how we do intro activities and speech!

We were entertained by the Upper and Youth Theatre performing mini scripts!

Our Upper Primary performed an excellent Verbal Dynamics piece followed by a well executed structured scene called Ulysses and the Sirens...

Well done Midstream students - your enthusiasm and dedication to the drama classes really paid off and everyone enjoyed the show!!

And of course we ended of the presentation with our Awards Ceremony ...it is so important to celebrate our Students dedication and commitment!

What a wonderful group of adult actors - the Brooklyn Players! 

What does our ADULT programme at our Brooklyn studio on Saturday mornings cover?

Apart from developing confidence for Public Speaking, Presentation Skills and Performance skills, the classes are also a great way to make new friends and be part of a focused group.

 

The programme helps those in business become more confident and those who act to follow their dreams. Being a good communicator is essential for future life-long success and we will help you to achieve this with our expert teachers.

We do this through a balanced theatre arts programme covering speech, advanced improvisation, structured small group improvisation, script work, character analysis and production and film techniques.

R730.00 per term (+- 8 classes per term)

Today's improvisation called "Go easy with the Chilli" was loads of fun!

The students added their own Mexican feel to the play!

Brooklyn Upper Primary improvise a bus accident

For this weeks dress up and prop day the students had to dress up as though they had been involved in a bus accident- we had all sorts of injuries that had to be scripted into the story!

Wonderful ideas and great acting - well done Brooklyn Upper Primary!

Children love Drama!

Our carefully designed curriculum allows students to explore their inner self and in so doing develop their self confidence!

We have been operating in the Pretoria area for over 6 years and it is marvellous to witness so many positive results!

Last Wednesday was our last dress up day for the term - tropical island 

Style!! 

We worked on mime and performed a great Mime to Music called The Tropical Storm.

Classes take place on Wednesday  afternoons

Ages 5-10yrs  4-5pm

Ages 11- 16yrs 5-6pm

From 5-18 years our self development Programme helps children develop confidence and skill in verbal communication
