Midstream Upper Primary in full swing!

Our Upper Primary group for ages 9-12years are so ready to show off their acting skills at our annual production at the State Theatre on 12 November!

Their play is wonderful and they have really enjoyed creating characters and working on this exciting play!!

Midstream Parent Presentation- a huge success!

Our presentation began with an excellent introduction written by two of our talented Youth Theatre students!

Our Lower primary showed the audience how we do intro activities and speech!

We were entertained by the Upper and Youth Theatre performing mini scripts!

Our Upper Primary performed an excellent Verbal Dynamics piece followed by a well executed structured scene called Ulysses and the Sirens...

Well done Midstream students - your enthusiasm and dedication to the drama classes really paid off and everyone enjoyed the show!!

And of course we ended of the presentation with our Awards Ceremony ...it is so important to celebrate our Students dedication and commitment!

Faerie Glen Drama classes growing every week!

Our weekly drama classes in Faerie Glen take place at Faerie Glen NG Church - 429 Glenwood road Faerie Glen on Monday afternoons!

We have 2 age groups running at this studio:-

6-12 years - 4.30 - 5.30pm

13 - 18 years - 5.30 - 6.30pm

Wonderful Wierda Park studio!

From 5-18 years our self development Programme helps children develop confidence and skill in verbal communication 

Wierda Park Lower Primary having fun with Snippets!

Each week the students pair up with different students in the class to peform their snippets or scene starters - this teaches students from a young age how work with others, get along and develop social skills!

We have a lovely studio in Wierda park at the Wierda Park Reformed Church, Corner Willem Botha and Meyer street 

Classes take place on Friday  afternoons

 ages 5-8 3-4pm

Ages 9-12 4-5pm

Ages 13-18 5-6pm

Saturday Brooklyn Lower Primary class visiting the hospital!

This week the students were asked to dress up as doctors and patients! They had so much fun with all the plasters and bandages! 

Using props and costumes helps the students to connect with the characters they are portraying!

It's Good to be BACK at Beaulieu studio

The Helen O Grady Drama Academy runs classes at Beaulieu Prep school on Tuesdays and Saturdays. It is the only studio in the Midrand area that runs classes on a 3 term schedule. 

They have just started classes this week and it is wonderful to see all our brilliant Drama Kings and Queens!
