Wierda Park Lower Primary having fun with Snippets!

Each week the students pair up with different students in the class to peform their snippets or scene starters - this teaches students from a young age how work with others, get along and develop social skills!

We have a lovely studio in Wierda park at the Wierda Park Reformed Church, Corner Willem Botha and Meyer street 

Classes take place on Friday  afternoons

 ages 5-8 3-4pm

Ages 9-12 4-5pm

Ages 13-18 5-6pm

Wierda Park Lower Primary loved being on stage!

After their introductory activities they demonstrated how they warm up their voices for Speech!

Then they went on to perform a Mime to Music called The Astronauts!

Finally they performed The Sleepover- definitely their favourite improvisation this term!

Our Mid year Parent Presentation gives parents an opportunity to see our award winning curriculum in action and it gives our students a platform to perform in an  intimidating environment!

Dress Up Day was great Fun at Irene Primary Studio!

Students at Irene Primary can't wait for Thursday...

Thursdays are a favourite at Irene Primary because that is when the Helen O Grady Drama Academy comes to the school to teach these wonderfully enthusiastic and creative children!
