HELEN O GRADY DRAMA ACADEMY IN FULL SWING AT IRENE PRIMARY SCHOOL!

                     Students aged 5 -8yrs old experiment with movement in the three different planes!

Students from the Helen O'Grady Drama Academy at Irene Primary show great performance skill under the direction of their fantastic teachers Larisa and Lisenka. Student numbers have really grown this year because more parents realise the importance of developing good communication skills and the fact that the Academy's international programme has come to their school! AUDITIONS FOR WIZARD OF AFRICA

Recently 4 of our talented Youth Theatre Students auditioned for roles in the upcoming musical Wizard of Africa, which will be staged by the Irene Community Theatre. They had to sing, dance and act and were commended by the casting director on their exceptional talent!! Well done girls and best of luck!!

Our Irene Studio takes place every Thursday at Irene Primary, Bruce Road Irene. The students love their drama classes and many of their parents have commented on how much their child's confidence has grown! These children thoroughly enjoyed perfoming their play to a fantastic audience who even asked for an encore!
