Midrand Montessori Students finishing off their theme Teddy Bear

The Midrand Montessori students ended off their Teddy Bear theme with a lovely play called Big Box of Bears..they really enjoyed acting as all different kinds of teddies and the play looked great!!

Midrand Montessori Drama Classes have Grown!!

We started running our wonderful Kindy programme for 3-6 year olds at Midrand Montessori last year. It is so popular that we now have three groups on a Monday morning!!! Teacher Chene really enjoys interacting with these enthusiastic and creative children :-)

Kindy Classes at Midrand Montessori are highly popular!

Due to the popularity of our Kindy Drama programme at Midrand Montessori Pre School, we have opened a 3rd class! During Monday's class we explored different emotions and the children had great fun being happy, sad and excited!

Back to Drama for Beaulieu Prep Students!!

Last Tuesday was the start of term 3 for the students of Beaulieu Prep and surrounding schools! The children had so much fun at their first lesson!! They particularly enjoyed the movement segment and each group showcased a fantastic display!

KINDY DRAMA IS AMAZING!

Pre-schoolers can also enjoy our international developmental drama programme! We offer our programme exclusively to pre-primary schools in the area.

Classes for ages 2,5 - 6 year olds are run at Whiz Kids Academy, Beaulieu Grade 0, Midrand Montessori and First Friends Montessori Schools.

Activities include speech development; language and vocabulary development; story telling; mime; creative movement and dramatic play. The emphasis is on fun, ensuring our little tots learn in a friendly and unintimidating atmosphere!

We are very excited to announce that from September we'll be running our amazing Kindy programme at Midrand Montessori School in Midrand!

SAGEWOOD SCHOOL GRADE 1 - 7

The Helen O Grady Drama Academy runs its international programme throughout Midrand and Pretoria. The new classes held at Sagewood School in Midrand, under the direction of Principal Juliet Jordaan, have proved to be a huge success. Classes are held on Friday afternoons during the school term.  Grades 1 and 2 attend from 12h30 - 13h30 and Grades 3 - 7's attend from 13h30 - 14h30.Classes follow an extensive developmental drama curriculum which focuses on Presentation, Public Speaking and Performance Skills. Many of the children have signed up to Aardvark Casting, which is becoming one of Gauteng's leading Agencies with children who have acting experience. Saturday Morning Drama Classes at Beaulieu Preparatory School are lots of FUN!!

The Lower Primary class really enjoyed dressing up for their play called Aladdin and the Lamp. They performed this week's play on stage using fantastic loud, clear voices and great acting skills!
