Kindy Drama at Sagewood Preprimary!

On Friday we finished our theme all about Nursery Rhymes and Fairy Tales! After their speech warm ups they had fun doing a Movement Story and an improvisation called The Storybook! 

Next week they will discover a new theme!!

KINDY DRAMA IS AMAZING!

Pre-schoolers can also enjoy our international developmental drama programme! We offer our programme exclusively to pre-primary schools in the area.

Classes for ages 2,5 - 6 year olds are run at Whiz Kids Academy, Beaulieu Grade 0, Midrand Montessori and First Friends Montessori Schools.

Activities include speech development; language and vocabulary development; story telling; mime; creative movement and dramatic play. The emphasis is on fun, ensuring our little tots learn in a friendly and unintimidating atmosphere!

At the end of last term, Helen O' Grady celebrated with First Friends Montessori School  in Laudium at their 10th Birthday...great fun was had by all :-)

Beaulieu Preparatory Students had Dress Up Day today!

The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy is in its third year of operation at Beaulieu Prep School and the drama classes after school are highly popular. The children have a fantastic creative time with their expert teacher Juliet, who is also the principal of the Academy.  Research has shown that children who engage in extra mural school activities are more likely to have better focus at school and much improved academic success. Schools which have an extensive after school programme have found that their children become better motivated!

First Friends Kindy Bring a Grown Up Day!

What fun this group of 3-5yr olds had showing off their skills to their mums! Theur mums were good sports too and had fun joining in with their children! We explored different aspects of the themes we have covered this term - such as colours, music and food!

The children from Whiz Kids Nursery School had so much fun showing their parents all the different things they have learnt this year! They were very proud of the certificates they received!

LYTTELTON'S LAST LESSON OF TERM 3

Our students aged 3-6yrs had a wonderful term learning about The Circus, Space and The Ocean in our fantastic Kindy Programme!

Their teacher, Larisa, is absolutely fantastic with them! Here she is the giant octopus who frightens all the sea creatures! The children got to choose their own sea creature...we had mermaids, sea horses, beluga whales etc!!

The children had so much fun learning all about space..they were all astronauts and got to fly to the Moon in their very own space ships!!
