Laudium Parent Presentation at Jacaranda Primary School

On Thursday afternoon we held our Parent Presentation in Laudium at Jacaranda Primary school! The students were bubbling with enthusiasm and they performed very well!! We were very proud of each and every one of our Super Stars!

Laudium Upper Primary students happy to be back!

Students from surroundings schools- CIS, Waterkloof Primary and Jacaranda primary attend our drama classes every Thursday. Ages 9-13 attend classes from 4.15-5.15pm.

Dress up for Week 9 - 17 - 22 March

Lower Primary (5-9yrs) this week is a Mime to Music! 

Children can dress up in red/yellow/green and brown - any colour that represents a pizza topping!!

There is no dress up for the Upper Primary!

Enjoy the second last week of term!

Dress Up and Prop ideas for Week 8 Date: 10 - 15 March

Lower Primary (5-9yrs) - This week is very easy - students just need to bring 1 toy prop to class. Eg: teddy, rabbit, clown, doll

Upper Primary (9-12yrs) - This week students need to wear beach gear or bring props along - Eg shorts,summer dresses, caps, towels, beach bags! (let's hope the weather warms up and stops raining this week!)

This week's dress up theme and Bring a Friend

This week Monday 3 - Saturday 8 February all students in Lower and Upper  Primary are dressing up as Cavemen and Cave women!! 

This can be very easy...messy hair, brown or animal print clothes and dirty faces!!

This is for our Mime to Music called 'No Meat'!

The students are going to have a lot of fun with this! 

This week is also Bring a Friend Week!

This means that students can bring a friend (or 2!) along to drama for a free lesson!! 

First Friends Montessori - First Kindy Drama Lesson of the Year!

Larisa was so happy to be back at First Friends Montessori! It was great to see our students from last year - who have grown so much in the holidays!! And we loved meeting our new students who joined our Kindy Drama group for the very first time! They did a wonderful job and loved learning and acting 'All About Me'! The Helen O' Grady Drama Academy teaches all the students from First Friends Montessori school every Friday morning :-)

LAUDIUM PARENT DAY!!

Our new studio in Laudium had their Parent Day last Thursday! The students were super excited to show their mums and grandparents what they had learnt in such a short time!! They were fantastic! Well done boys and girls :-) and Thank you teacher Chene for being such a dedicated teacher!

Our Drama Classes in Laudium are growing as word of mouth spreads...

Our classes in Laudium on Thursday afternoons only started last term and already the class is almost full! Students learn how speak clearly and confidently! We also explore creative movement and acting techniques! Our fantastic teacher Chene, makes the classes fun and exciting!!!!

Welcome back to all our Laudium students!

Our studio in Laudium has grown thanks to Word of Mouth from parents and teachers! Teacher Chene was sooo excited to see all her favourite students again and she really enjoyed meeting her new students who simply loved the class! We run our classes at First Friends Montessori - where we also teach the entire school on Friday mornings!

Congratulations to First Friends Montessori on their 10th Birthday!!

At the end of last term, Helen O' Grady celebrated with First Friends Montessori School  in Laudium at their 10th Birthday...great fun was had by all :-)

Students from our Laudium Studio start their second term with their wonderful, teacher Chené!
