Saturdays at our Lyttelton studio are so much fun!

This week students were asked to dress up and wow they all looked amazing and enjoyed their mime to music set on a cruise ship.
We run classes for ages 5-18 on Saturday afternoons in Lyttelton close to Unitas Hospital.

This week's dress up theme and Bring a Friend

This week Monday 3 - Saturday 8 February all students in Lower and Upper  Primary are dressing up as Cavemen and Cave women!!
This can be very easy...messy hair, brown or animal print clothes and dirty faces!!
This is for our Mime to Music called 'No Meat'!

The students are going to have a lot of fun with this!

This week is also Bring a Friend Week!
This means that students can bring a friend (or 2!) along to drama for a free lesson!!

Lyttelton Upper Primary learning new acting techniques

Our 9-12 age group at our Lyttelton studio acted out a whole group improvisation called Joe's All Night Cafe! We concentrated on our ad lib techniques and of course being 'dressed the character' really helped set the scene !

Lyttelton Lower Primary And the Super Snowman

Thank you to all our lower primary super stars for dressing up for today's play called the Super Snowman - you all looked very cute and cozy!!

DRESS UP DAYS FOR OUR LYTTELTON, WIERDA PARK, IRENE AND ANNLIN LOWER PRIMARY STUDENTS!

LYTTELTON LOWER PRIMARY ON SATURDAYS!

WIERDA PARK LOWER PRIMARY ON FRIDAYS

IRENE LOWER PRIMARY ON THURSDAYS

ANNLIN LOWER PRIMARY ON WEDNESDAYS!
All the students love to dress up and every second week they have had to bring a prop or dress up for a different activity! It worked brilliantly as the use of props and costume definitely enhances performance!
