Brooklyn Youth Theatre

Our Brooklyn Youth Theatre Group are a fantastic bunch of teenagers from a variety of schools in the area, including Crawford Pretoria, Brooklyn Primary, Tyer Valley College and Glen High.

These students are all very talented and they really enjoy the balanced theatre arts programme that we offer at Helen O Grady Drama Academy! We also have a casting agency which many of the students have joined! These classes take place on Tuesday afternoons from 5pm - 6pm at the Greek Church, corner of Roper, Brooks and Lynnwood Rds.

Bring a Friend Day!!

The Upper Primary in Brooklyn had a Bring a Friend Day this week! The students were allowed to bring as many friends as they wished to join in the fun!

Brooklyn Lower Primary enjoy their classes!

Our Brooklyn studio runs classes on Tuesday afternoons at the Greek Church opposite Pta Oos Laerskool. The children had great fun this week doing their Mime To Music called NO MEAT!!

They loved dressing up as cavemen and their wonderful teacher Larisa had so much fun painting their faces!!

Helen O Grady Pretoria Welcomes all Old and New Students to 2010!

It is wonderful to see how many students have returned for another year full of DRAMA!!

We also warmly welcome our new students to our Academy and wish them a funfilled year!

Welcome New Teachers!

The Academy has expanded this year and we welcome two fantastic teachers to our family - Lisenka Berlouw and Larisa Grove! They both have lots of experience in the field of drama and teaching.

It's hard to believe that 2010 is already under way!
The Helen O Grady Drama Academy in Pretoria commences classes this Monday 18th January!
It is going to be great to see all the old faces again and welcome lots of new ones!!

Word is spreading quickly through Pretoria about our fantastic programme and as a result classes are filling up...
