The Helen O'Grady Drama Academy was started by Helen O' Grady in August 1979 in Perth Australia. Thirty years later the Academy has over 50 000,00 students attending classes each week across the globe! Using an international curriculum the Academy aims to develop confidence, self esteem, communication and performance skills. STUDENTS PROUD OF THEIR ACHIEVEMENTS!
All students in our Academy were awarded certificates and those who had reached 100 or 200 lessons were awarded trophies!
Centurion Theatre was packed with parents, friends and family who came to watch the stars in action!
WIERDA PARK WOWED AUDIENCES WITH THEIR WONDERFUL PERFORMANCES AT THE CENTURION THEATRE!
This group of young actors ranging in age from 5-8yrs have strong clear voices! They really showed their parents how successful our programme is as they acted with confidence and showed off their oral communication skills!
Our Wierda Park Upper Primary are a very creative and talented bunch of students! They are dedicated and enthusiastic and their teacher Larisa really enjoys teaching them on Friday afternoons!
Our Youth Theatre from Wierda Park ages 13yrs+ ended off our show with their fantastic play called The Kidnapping of Kitty O Hara!
The costumes and the decor added to their performance making it world class!

Students from IRENE PRIMARY SCHOOL, CORNWALL HILL, DORINGKLOOF and HOME SCHOOL worked brilliantly together as they performed their plays at the Centurion Teater/Theatre

The costumes were fantastic - the set looked great and of course our students performed perfectly! Our Faerie Glen Lower Primary group had so much fun performing How the Lion Got it's Roar!
Miss Muffet, Red Rose, the Old Woman were all there to entertain us! But who are these strange New Ideas coming to Storyland?
Under the excellent tuition of Larisa our Faerie Glen Upper Primary did an awesome job performing this twisted fairytale!
