Hello! It's DRAMA TIME at Earth Kids

Teacher Lauren and the Kindy drama children from Earth Kids Nursery school greeted Principal Juliet with hugs and smiles!!

They are learning all about My Family and they really enjoyed looking at all the household things that Lauren brought in her special goodie bag!

Cultural Day at Star International School Pretoria

There was lots of excitement at Star International school today! It was their Cultural Day and students came dressed in their beautiful traditional outfits! 

Of course drama continued as usual. We are busy rehearsing for our show on 24 October and the students are doing an awesome job!

This week is the last week of term 3. After a short break we commence term 4 which will be jam packed with productions!

Kindy Drama at Midrand Montessori

Every Monday Helen O'Grady Drama Academy comes to Midrand Montessori to teach the 3-5yr olds Drama!

Exciting Rehearsals at our Erasmia studio

The Lower and Upper primary classes at our studio in Erasmia have joined forces to put on a spectacular play! The students are loving rehearsals! 

They are learning all about the Knights of the Round Table and they are learning important theatre techniques!

The Beaulieu Grade 0's were so happy to be back at drama on Tuesday!

    

Every Tuesday Helen O ' Grady Drama Academy visits Beaulieu Nursery School and Beaulieu  Prep School.

We have a wonderful group of Grade 0's who are very creative and they love using their imaginations to create snippets and improvisations!

Our Lower Primary group of ages 5-9 love dressing up! 

They had so much fun performing their Circus play and their costumes were wonderful!

Mime to Music is an important part of our curriculum. Students have to show their emotions through body language and facial expressions - no voices allowed!!

Our Lyttelton lower primary really enjoy performing stories through Mime!

It may have been a chilly first day of Spring yesterday but once all the Principals and their teachers started workshopping our upcoming plays the energy and enthusiasm soon warmed us up!
