The Lower Primary class from ages 5 - 8yrs had a funfilled lesson today with their brilliant teacher, Larisa!
And the Upper Primary came all dressed up for their Mime to Music called How Clumsy!

The Upper Primary class at our Beaulieu Studio love to dress up! Today they did a fantastic performance of their play called The Icecream Factory!

Saturday Morning Drama Classes at Beaulieu Preparatory School are lots of FUN!!

The Lower Primary class really enjoyed dressing up for their play called Aladdin and the Lamp. They performed this week's play on stage using fantastic loud, clear voices and great acting skills!

Wierda Park Drama Classes Nearly full!!

The Helen O Grady Drama Academy operates its drama classes in Wierda Park at the Reformed Church on the corner of Willem Botha and Meyer Streets. The classes are very popular with children attending from all different areas in Centurion and even as far as Laudium!

They are learning so many important skills while having enormous amounts of fun!! The children whose home language is Afrikaans have really improved their English skills!

Here you can see the Lower Primary class have dressed up for their play called Aladdin and the Lamp! The Upper Primary class really enjoyed staring in their play this week called The Ice Cream Factory!

There's lots of "Drama" going on in Brooklyn!!

The students from our Brooklyn Studio love to dress up! Here they are all dressed up and showing off their excellent acting skills!! Our weekly classes in Brooklyn take place on Tuesdays in the Kykkos Hall at the Greek Church which is opposite Pretoria University on the corner of Lynnwood, Roper and Brooks Roads.

BEAULIEU YOUTH THEATRE PERFORM 'CHARACTERS IN SEARCH OF A PLOT'

The Beaulieu Youth Theatre class takes place every Saturday from 11am - 12pm at Beaulieu Preparatory School. They are a dynamic group of students with vivid imaginations! Students aged 13 - 18yrs from the Midrand area are more than welcome to join!

AUDITIONS FOR WIZARD OF AFRICA

Recently 4 of our talented Youth Theatre Students auditioned for roles in the upcoming musical Wizard of Africa, which will be staged by the Irene Community Theatre. They had to sing, dance and act and were commended by the casting director on their exceptional talent!! Well done girls and best of luck!!

Wierda Park Upper Primary love to pose!

Our Wierda Park Upper Primary looked fantastic when they dressed up for their improvisation last Friday! They are a terrific group of students who enjoy every minute of their drama class!

Brooklyn Youth Theatre

Our Brooklyn Youth Theatre Group are a fantastic bunch of teenagers from a variety of schools in the area, including Crawford Pretoria, Brooklyn Primary, Tyer Valley College and Glen High.

These students are all very talented and they really enjoy the balanced theatre arts programme that we offer at Helen O Grady Drama Academy! We also have a casting agency which many of the students have joined! These classes take place on Tuesday afternoons from 5pm - 6pm at the Greek Church, corner of Roper, Brooks and Lynnwood Rds.

Bring a Friend Day!!

The Upper Primary in Brooklyn had a Bring a Friend Day this week! The students were allowed to bring as many friends as they wished to join in the fun!

Brooklyn Lower Primary enjoy their classes!

Our Brooklyn studio runs classes on Tuesday afternoons at the Greek Church opposite Pta Oos Laerskool. The children had great fun this week doing their Mime To Music called NO MEAT!!

They loved dressing up as cavemen and their wonderful teacher Larisa had so much fun painting their faces!!
